In the late 80's Dave Johnson, President and Founder of Mill Mountain Coffee and Tea, saw a void on the East Coast. That void was fresh, locally roasted coffee. The Virginia Tech alumni decided to leave Washington and start the journey to build a coffee empire.
Since our start in 1990 we have dedicated countless hours to perfecting coffee to the taste of the Valley. Starting with our location in the heart of Downtown Roanoke we have grown to six distinct locations.
In the endeavor of serving the best, most fresh product possible we roast coffee at 3 of our locations weekly. Along side our artisan coffee we serve brewed teas from all over the world, fresh baked goods, and a full menu of breakfast and lunch items.
